STEP 1.
Orche Card (Working with Children Check)
The Working with Children Check requires that all persons engaged in working with children complete an Orche Card application and undergo a Police screening process.
The screening process is undertaken to ensure that only suitable persons are placed in unsupervised positions with children.
Persons who pass the screening process are subsequently issued with an Orche Card, which remains current for a period of 4 years. After 4 years, individuals must re-apply to renew their Orche Card.
Motorcycling Northern Territory requires that any person applying for either an Officials or Coaches Licence must first apply for, and be issued with, an Orche Card.

STEP 2.
Create a Ridernet profile and complete the Level 1 Operational Officials Course

Create a profile and apply for an official’s licence
Become a Trainee or Level 2 Key Official:
Trainee Officials can act in Key Official roles at any non-competitive events.
Level 2 Officials can act in Key Official roles at any Club, interclub level event (without prize money) and non-competitive events.
You will need to attend an Officials Course. You can express your interest below. By expressing your interest you will be immediately notified via email when a course becomes available.

Become a Level 3 Official:
Step 1: Complete the below form. You must also include your participation Journal with the application
Officials Licence Renewal Form
This form can be digitally completed. To do this download the form onto your device, complete, save, and email the saved file to the nominated email address.
Step 2: Email your application and Participation Journal to your MNT Representative, to find out who your Rep is please contact us
Step 3: Your application is reviewed by the MNT
Step 4: MNT notifies you of your applications outcome
Become a Level 4 Official:
Level 4 Officials can perform duties at Club, Interclub or Open/State and National level events and are appointed by Motorcycling Australia.
Motorcycling Australia are responsible for appointing all Level 4 Officials, but first you must receive approval and endorsement from your State Controlling Body and attend a Level 4 Seminar (organised and facilitated by Motorcycling Australia).

Renewing an Official’s Licence:
To renew either an Operational Official Licence OR Level 2 OR Level 3 licence please complete the below form.
Step 1: Head to Ridernet
Step 2: Complete renewal process under officials and attend officials refresher training
Step 3: Your application is reviewed by the MNT
Step 4: MNT notifies you of your applications outcome
