It’s an honour to represent the NT at this event, and I hope for an amazing experience that includes heaps of learning, great memories, and a whole lot of fun.”
Owen Todd #23 in Queensland
Simultaneously, Owen Todd, another promising junior rider, has made his way to the Sunshine State to compete in the Queensland Junior Cup. Owen’s participation in this event not only marks a significant milestone in his racing career but also highlights the growing talent pool emerging from the Northern Territory.
Supporting Our Young Riders
The participation of Liam and Owen in these interstate competitions underscores the importance of supporting and nurturing young talent within our community. Their journey serves as a testament to the opportunities that arise from hard work and passion for the sport.
In an effort to foster young talent and encourage participation in motorcycling, local road racing club, Top End Road Racing Association (TERRA) has established a comprehensive junior program. This initiative aims to build the skills and passion of young riders through a structured approach that includes coaching, mentorship, and inclusive community.
We extend our best wishes to both Liam and Owen as they take on these exciting challenges. Their performances are sure to inspire the next generation of riders and reinforce the Northern Territory’s reputation as a breeding ground for exceptional motorcycling talent. Let’s rally behind them and celebrate their achievements as they represent the NT on the interstate and national stage.
