Creative Brief
The 2025 MXGP Team Jersey Design Competition encourages talented young designers to craft a visually striking and original jersey that captures the spirit of the event.
The MXGP of Australia will host the renowned MXGP and MX2 classes, along with the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship.
We respectfully acknowledge the Larrakia people, the traditional custodians of the land on which the MXGP of Australia will take place.
The winning design will be featured as the official jersey for the 2025 MNT MXGP Team.
Theme:
The jersey design should thoughtfully incorporate elements of people, community, motocross and the unique culture of the Northern Territory. The design should evoke a sense of adventure and the excitement of motocross, while highlighting the connection to the land and people. It should reflect the dynamic spirit of the region and resonate with everyone who will see it.
Inspiration:
Draw inspiration from the vibrant cultures, landscapes, and elements of the Northern Territory. Consider the fluid shapes, organic patterns, and rich colours that reflect our unique environment. The Motorcycling Australia NT (MNT) colour palette can be used as a guide for selecting complementary colours that resonate with the natural surroundings and local culture.
Colour Palette:
Refer to the MNT logo palette for guidance on colour selection. Ensure the colours work harmoniously together and reflect the energy of the MXGP of Australia, while staying aligned with the event’s overall branding. Incorporating Indigenous colours to honour the land and people of the Northern Territory is encouraged.
Motorcycling Australia NT Logo Palette:
Orche (HEX #cc7a00)
Black (HEX #2f1a24)
White (HEX #ffffff)
Design Considerations:
Submissions may include both a front and back jersey design or a single design repeated on both sides.
Designers can also choose to customise additional panels of the jersey, such as the sides, shoulder/arm sleeves, and neck areas.
Placement of Sponsor Logos:
For guidance on where sponsor logos will be placed, refer to the current jersey design (front and back).
Note: that the event and sponsor logos will be added by MNT once artwork is submitted, so designers should consider how these logos may impact their overall design.
